Anjela centers on paper as her primary material, exploring playful intersections of painting and sculpture. As Klaypel’s second-generation lead—continuing a kiddie art craze from the 2000s—she reimagines paper clay with sustainability in mind.
Her process-driven approach bridges commerce and craft, embodying her advocacy for therapeutic, accessible art for autism communities, those in medical care, women’s shelters, and other underserved groups. Guided by a global vision and pursuing her MFA to elevate her practice, she hopes to bring Filipino creativity and its restorative power across borders.
