J Foundation hosted its annual advocacy concert at the Grand Hyatt Manila on November 24, 2025, bringing together children, families, partners, and communities in a shared celebration of generosity and compassion. Centered on the belief that even the smallest acts of kindness can brighten a child’s world, this year’s program reflected the foundation’s enduring mission to uplift young lives.

Founded by Japanese expatriates in a modest hospital in Hanoi in 2017, J Foundation has since grown into a major philanthropic organization supported by over 600 Japanese donors. Today, it remains committed to empowering children and communities across Asia through sustainable initiatives grounded in three core pillars: healthcare, education, and social development.
This year’s concert embraced the theme A Symphony of Giving, highlighting how compassion—whether through healthcare support, inclusive education, environmental care, or hope for cancer warriors—can bring people from different walks of life together.
“Through this concert, we hope to bring joy to the children and their families, and to remind communities that generosity and kindness can inspire meaningful action,” shared Takahiro Fushimi, Executive Director of J Foundation.
The event was attended by notable guests including Filipina singer Morissette Amon and Miss Grand Philippines International 2024 CJ Opiaza, with performances by the Daloy Dance Company, Taiko Drummers, and the Mandaluyong Children’s Choir.

Beyond performances, the concert showcased initiatives designed to uplift children in lasting ways. These included the Philos Green Games tabletop game promoting environmental awareness, the Crowning Courage project providing handcrafted wigs to young cancer patients, and the distribution of essential hygiene kits—demonstrating how imagination, care, and community can work together to nurture hope.
Creativity also played a meaningful role in this year’s program. As an event sponsor, Klaypel supported the concert by providing Klaypel art kits for the children. Made from recycled paper and designed as a therapeutic art activity, the kits encouraged self-expression, mindfulness, and tactile play—offering children moments of calm, joy, and emotional release through the simple act of creating.
Beyond the concert, J Foundation continues to sustain its community programs throughout the year. Alongside donations of children’s activity books to Silahis ng Kaunlaran, the foundation has supported indigent students since 2018 through lunch meals, prepaid internet access for online classes, hygiene kits, grocery packages, computer sets, and essential school supplies.
Looking ahead, J Foundation aims to expand its programs in the Philippines, strengthening partnerships to reach even more communities in need.
“By bringing together donors, volunteers, artists, and communities,” Mr. Fushimi concluded, “we hope to inspire the belief that giving—even in its simplest form—can create ripples of compassion long after the event.”
