Some days carry both weight and lightness at the same time.
Yesterday at F1 Hotel BGC, we had the privilege of being part of F1 Cares, a full-day initiative for children with thalassemia—a condition that requires ongoing care, including regular blood transfusions.
The day began with a blood drive, a quiet but powerful reminder of what sustains these children. From there, the atmosphere gradually shifted into something lighter—games, a movie showing, and shared moments over snacks—creating space for the kids to simply enjoy the day.
In the afternoon, Klaypel facilitated an art session.
What stood out immediately was how naturally the children took to the process. With minimal instruction, they began creating intuitively—choosing colors, shaping forms, and expressing themselves with ease.
At one point, the room felt, quite beautifully unhinged.
There were kids dancing between tables, attempting cartwheels, and even offering us hotdogs from their snack plates. It was spontaneous, a little chaotic, and undeniably joyful.

And yet, within that lightness was something deeper.
Because when you understand even a fraction of what these children navigate daily, their joy carries a different weight. It is resilience, expressed in its most human form—through play, creativity, and connection.
At Klaypel, we believe art creates space for exactly that.

There is no better way to begin the year than this.
And if we carry anything into 2026, it is this: even in the presence of weight, there is always room for joy.
