Mold and Behold: Healing Through Art, Bond with a Heart

Ever feel like life is throwing too much at you? Like you need a reset button? That’s exactly what Mold and Behold was about—a day dedicated to creativity, self-expression, and healing through art, brought to life by Healing Creations and Klaypel.

A Day That Started with Purpose

We kicked off with an Opening Prayer, then, Klaypel set the stage with opening remarks, reminding everyone why we were here: to use creativity as a tool for mental well-being.

Our host introduced the speaker (you probably saw them on the event poster), who led a powerful mental health talk. But it wasn’t just any talk—it started with a simple, eye-opening question: How are you feeling? Participants answered with emojis, breaking the ice and setting the tone for an honest conversation about emotional well-being. By the end of it, everyone walked away with fresh insights and a reminder that they weren’t alone in their struggles.

Art as Therapy: The Dutdot Session

After lunch, it was time to get our hands (literally) into something transformative—the Dutdot Session. Our Klaypel Master Dutduter guided everyone through the process of layering colors, textures, and emotions onto their canvases. There were no rules, just pure expression. And in that moment, you could see it—the shift. People let go of stress, embraced creativity, and found a kind of therapy that words sometimes can’t provide.

To keep the momentum going, we threw in a little challenge: post your Klaypel artwork on social media, and you might just win a prize. Because what’s creativity if not shared?

Wrapping It Up with Gratitude

Before we called it a day, we made sure to celebrate the participants. Certificates were awarded, contest winners were recognized, and the energy in the room was lively. Leendy and Caleil personally handed out tokens to every single participant—a small but meaningful way to say, Thank you for showing up, for creating, for sharing your journey with us.

Mold and Behold was a reminder that art heals, community matters, and when we create, we’re doing something powerful—not just for ourselves, but for others.

To everyone who joined us: Keep creating. Keep expressing. And remember, you’re never alone in this journey.
